Today they say, they will deport my neighbors down the street from me to make a safer country
And tomorrow they declare the land for which we do not own, will be ours, to expand our home
And next they will raise the prices of basic necessities, to make everything more American
And then they shall take the legs which I need to walk and the arms I use to eat.
And they shall remove the nose I use to breathe for I shall not need it now they have confiscated air.
And the mouth I might use to speak out has been sewn shut to keep me silent.
And yet all the evils promised, disguised and improvements are not ones acknowledged by me, for they had taken the eyes which I used to see.
